The field of mental health has been interwoven into my life throughout childhood and adulthood. My family has and continues to work within the residential treatment setting. My occupational journey reflects my capacity for compassion that exists alongside an unwavering work ethic.
My relationship with ITTC began with working part time reception while attending Marylhurst University for my Masters in Teaching. After graduation, I left ITTC and began teaching 3rd grade in the Reynolds school district. However, my draw towards mental health and trauma remained. I returned to ITTC over my breaks and eventually took a leave of absence from teaching to return to ITTC full time to managed the office, providing support for our staff and clients that I approached with spirited integrity.
I felt a personal investment in each person who called or walked through the door, which eventually led me to realize my unwavering commitment to the organization. Supporting others in the midst of challenging periods is one of my core values and has fueled my choice to increase my level of commitment to ITTC.
In 2018, I was invited to become a partner in ITTC and have excitedly and wholeheartedly embraced my new role.
