My Bio
I received a doctorate in Naturopathic medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. In addition, I hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Molecular Biology/Microbiology from Portland State University and a Bachelors of Arts in History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies with a focus in Buddhism from Antioch College. While at Antioch, I studied and practiced Buddhism in Japan and spent four months studying and working with traditional healers at the Center of Traditional Indigenous Medicine in Oaxaca, Mexico.
I specialize in helping patients address the mental/emotional components of chronic illness. I utilize many different tools that have come from my training in Naturopathic medicine, my ongoing training in bodywork, Body Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing and various other trauma informed practices.
