We Provide Support For

Members of our community who struggle with

Depression

Mental health and medical professionals are witness to pain that can at times come at a cost. ITTC acknowledges that healers can do their best work if they too, have proper support.

Anxiety

ITTC utilizes the manifestation of individual trauma symptoms as a lens into the brightest parts of the person.

Grief and loss

Attachments in early childhood can significantly influence our ability to manage emotion, to comfort ourselves and to connect with others in a secure way.

Trauma

Traumatic events can effect our sense of safety in the world and can significantly effect relationships with those we care about. Bloom provides specialized treatment for a variety of categories of post-trauma including childhood neglect or abuse, single-events such as a car accident, birth trauma, or medical trauma, and vicarious trauma for first responders, humanitarian aid workers, and health care workers.

Life Transitions

Life brings periods of stability as well as upheaval or change. Transition can create shifts in identity or life course that may seem disorienting. Bloom provides support surrounding changes in life course that may shift perceptions of who you are, what your goals are and how to plan for the future.

For businesses we offer the following:

Onsite Critical Incident Response

The amount of time we spend with our colleagues and clients often surpasses the time we don’t, which often lends itself to building connections to those we work with. Our workplace can be a place of learning, of solace, and lifelong relationships. Unexpected loss, disruption or trauma in the workplace can have a significant effect on all members of a business community. Bloom is able to provide on-site support to businesses, organizations, law enforcement agencies, and humanitarian/philanthropic organizations following a significant event in order to offer a safe and contained opportunity to share, reconnect, and process tragedy together.

Trauma-Informed Practices Training

Working from a trauma-informed lens is increasingly the expectation in a variety of industries, including those outside of the realm of health care. Approaching staff and clientele from this perspective can be instrumental to fostering a healthy work environment while approaching customer care with awareness and sensitivity. Strong businesses are only as strong as their team, and thus building connection between colleagues that is rooted in the mission of the organization is an integral component of our approach. While trauma-informed practices are beneficial for all businesses and communities, they are particularly applicable to the following:
